University Of Beer - Davis

I absolutely love this place! They offer a great selection of beers and ciders, outstanding customer service, a pet-friendly environment, and a convenient downtown location.

Ever since the restaurant changed their staff, I have noticed a decrease in quality. The new staff seems clueless about the beers on tap, making it feel like you're better off asking a 10-year-old for a recommendation. Before the staff change, I would have rated them a five, but now they have become disappointing. This restaurant used to be a gem, but now it feels like a letdown.

The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of beers with many different taps to choose from, making it easy to find the style you're in the mood for. In addition to the great beer options, they also serve a variety of mixed drinks and slushies, perfect for staying cool on hot days in Davis. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring you get exactly what you're looking for.

Right out of the gate here are the things I love: 1. I can bring my dog and sit inside or out 2. There is a wide selection of beers on tab and in the bottle 3. They have started to do cocktails which is great when taking that non beer drinker 4. They have fun nights such as Trivia and Karaoke Definitely worth grabbing a drink at when you are in town.

I came back after two weeks and the second time I couldn't go in because they didn't accept my European drive license. I had to come back home! Unacceptable because the European drive license are valid in the US and you can show to every officer Not a good experience
