Nick The Greek - Davis

The food is quite good and tasty overall. However, I can only give it four stars because it doesn't quite meet the quality I expect for the price. That being said, Nick's fries are amazing—definitely try those!

Decent gyros for a semi chain type vibe! Not sure if there are more Nick the Greek stores in other areas but it definitely gave me a vibe that it was an efficient, well serviced restaurant. Not a typical mom and pop Mediterranean joint, but still good nonetheless. I ordered the gyro plate and was very satisfied with the portions and enjoyed the extra sauces that came with the dish. The staff were very friendly, too!

After experiencing a glitch with DoorDash and unintentionally ordering the same meal twice, I have to say that Nick the Greek has truly impressed me. The food is not only flavorful with unique spices, but the portions are also generous, ensuring that you definitely get your money’s worth—and then some. It would be great to see this establishment expand. Overall, it was a rewarding experience!

The Greek salad is fresh and delicious, and the beef/lamb gyro bowl is fantastic. For dessert, the frozen yogurt is unbeatable, especially when topped with crushed baklava and drizzled with honey!

The meat portion is generous, but the fries are somewhat disappointing in both taste and texture. I'd recommend opting for the bowl with rice instead. The side salad is decent, though the dressing is a bit watery; it tastes good overall, and the feta adds a nice touch. The tzatziki sauce is delicious and really enhances the meal.
