The prices are high, but the food quality is good. It operates as a ramen shop, but other dishes are delicious. This is a Japanese restaurant that I want to visit again. Vegetarian options: crab salad Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
This home-grown Japanese restaurant is located in Tiongko Ave., Corner V. Mapa St., Davao City. The place is cozy and intimate and serves a variety of ramen, maki, rice bowls, and bentos. The service is excellent and staff are friendly and very accommodating. We’ve been here several times last month and my personal favorite is Shoyu Ramen! The heart of a good ramen is really in its broth, theirs is savory and the noodles are fresh. Serving is generous and food service is quick too! We also tried their maki, sashimi, and bento. They’re equally as good and ingredients are always fresh. Parking: A lot of parking Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and as I was eating, I discovered a hard piece of plastic in it. When I brought it to their attention, they initially questioned me but I asked them to check their CCTV footage. They replaced my ramen and explained that it was a piece of plastic from the noodles. However, I did not receive an apology from them before I finished my meal. Overall, I was disappointed with the poor service. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
