Pepe's Beachside - Dauin

An overpriced and accomplished old hotel in dauin we stayed here for 5 nights in a standard air-conditioned room thru directly on the official website of the hotel. some of the electric sockets in the room did not work. we were told at check-in that there will be no strong wlan in our room, and only on public places such as the poolbar and the restaurant on the sea, although they claimed online to have this internet access. the cover fan worked only at nr. 4 and stopped the rotation each number lower than it. Moreover, the hotel claimed to have a free pickup and transfer from and to dumaguete, but we said that this is only available from 4 o'clock to 12noon. they did not specify this timeframe on their website, I suggested to add these information online to avoid problems. a free breakfast was included in the price. do not let them fool themselves with white sand beach on their famous hotel photos, dauin has brown and black sand. the 2 redeeming quality were the pleasant and accommodating staff on the whole plot and the beach.

This is one of the top resorts and I have already visited it 3 times. Eating is simply delicious and prepared with fresh and top ingredients, including a good selection of weeping, all to cheap trips. the rooms are very nice also the standard rooms are fully equipped with minibar, tw, wlan etc. there is also a wellness area, a gym and a diving shop. that is a resort that gives them comfort and once they were there they will return.

I've always heard that this place is quite pricey for a night, but I'm glad my friend stayed here for three days and invited me to join. I had a wonderful time enjoying their hospitality. I spent one night alone in their spacious bed near the bar, and after drinking margaritas, I was feeling really good! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The sunrise here is absolutely perfect; it's a wonderful way to start the morning.

A very aggressive dog rushed at the visitors and ran past them, attempting to bite and growling. The staff seemed indifferent and just let it roam freely again. Update: I’m changing my rating from 1 star to 4! The food is fantastic and consistently high quality. After getting to know the dog, I've realized it isn’t as dangerous as it seems. However, I do hope the staff will confine its area of movement!

A hidden gem along the coast, this place is perfect for a getaway. Every detail has been carefully considered, with beautiful private rooms that mostly feature gardens. There's a charming bar by the pool surrounded by trees, flowers, and gentle breezes. The spacious restaurant offers stunning views of the sea, and the attentive waitstaff provide excellent table service. The meals are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. In front, a private beach awaits, complete with diving facilities in crystal-clear waters. The relaxing atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination.
