It was a delightful evening, and I look forward to returning to sample more delicious dishes from the menu!

After being seated by the concierge, the service took a downturn. The Filipino woman who waited on us displayed atrocious manners, akin to those of a fast-food worker—not that I mean to insult fast-food employees, as they often uphold a higher standard of service, especially at places like McDonald's. Unfortunately, this server fell far short of that mark. To make matters worse, the food was below average, especially considering the prices on the menu. I’m more than willing to pay good money for quality food and service, which is why I made a reservation at this restaurant in the first place. I would recommend visiting Il Piato instead; you’ll find better food, superior service, and a more enjoyable atmosphere with a nicer view.

I had dined here twice before without any issues, so this experience was unexpected. Their explanation for the delay was that everyone arrived at the same time, which I found hard to believe. It looked like there was only one chef on duty, and it seemed they had shown up late for their shift. We even had to order our drinks at the same time as our food, as no one came to take our drink orders. As someone with high standards who has worked in the industry, I know this is not how a restaurant should operate. I was particularly disheartened because my husband is only home every third week for a few days, and I had been looking forward to a lovely lunch together. It’s a day I will certainly remember, but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.

We had a booking for 8pm and despite this we were not seated until 8:30. The service staff didn’t know much regarding the menu. The entrees were tasty but overpriced. Our mains took an hour to come out, the steak was not cooked well and the cut was not great quality. We were very disappointed with our dining experience and will not be visiting again.

Wonderful service from the reception to paying the bill. Staff were very attentive, patient helpful with our questions Great to be able to have a conversation without shouting having a dress code. Although was annoyed to see a couple of people in thongs. If you can afford to eat out, buy some shoes leave the thongs for the beach or the pub
