I recently dined at The Wooden Monkey for our work team's Christmas luncheon and it exceeded all expectations. This was my first time at this location and I will definitely be going back. We made a reservation here due to some dietary restrictions and allergies within our group, and the staff did a fantastic job accommodating us. The spacious layout and great views made for a pleasant dining experience, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our party left happy and satisfied.

Really enjoyed our meals so much better than the Halifax location. We ate inside as it was pretty windy on the patio, but view was still stunning. Ordered the Fish Roasties from the “Light Menu” and the portion was huge! Really liked how you could have 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoe $3.95 add on). Food was delicious and our server, Amy Lynn was lovely

We had arrived late in town but were pleased to find this restaurant still open. Our waiter was outstanding. He was kind and funny and helped us to settled down and relax after a long day of travel. My partner had cod, which was fresh and beautifully prepared. I had a chicken sandwich that I thought a bit disarrayed in its flavor palate but it was still satisfying. The best part of all may be the views across the harbor to Halifax, watching the familiar pattern of the ferries crossing back and forth. Their patio would be the perfect place to enjoy a meal and unwind with a peaceful view. Our meal was a great welcome to Dartmouth!
