I came to this restaurant for a quick lunch with my family. We all ordered off the new vegan menu. The spiced chickpea, spinach, and eggplant burger was fantastic! We also tried the miso eggplant roll, which was also great - seasoned with chipotle sauce and very tasty. The pub is lovely, and I plan to take photos of the exterior next time once they fix the facade. There are plenty of seating options outside, including options for disabled individuals and families with children. There is also ample free parking, and the village of Farningham is beautiful. I will definitely be returning soon.

Have been a few times over the years and wanted to review our Saturday night as soon as we walked in we could tell it was very busy and they were very short staffed. Usually a recipe for disaster however the staff were all incredibly polite (whilst literally running around to serve everyone) and explained that they were short staffed and apologised in advance. Couldn’t fault any one at all, yes service was a little slower than usual but we were in no rush at all, and having been forewarned we weren’t too bothered anyway. Huge shout out to Claire who was our server for being so friendly and even going back to the kitchen to check if they had enough calamari for us both to have it I know if I’d have been that busy I wouldn’t have gone off to check. Thanks guys, fab food as always! Can’t wait to come back
