Very small place right in the heart of Darmstadt. But such a great food, friendly and fast staff, good menu and decent prices. Very good and quite affordable place. Maybe it's a good idea to book a table in advance.

The place is really cozy, definitely. I guess a lot of the high rating in TA comes from the fact that you really feel good sitting there in the nice atmosphere with nice servers taking care of you - it cannot be because of the food as it was, yes, slightly better than the other sushi places in Darmstadt (there are basically only conveyor belt sushi restaurants there, some quite good, tho), but no, not great. Granted, they prepare the stuff just for you, and the seaweed salad was excellent...but when it comes to sushi...ehhhhh...I wanted plain tamago sashimi, but the Asian lady taking the orders told me nobody has asked that before. Hotate? Not here...Nevertheless, she kindly agreed to prepare the tamago sashimi for me - yay. Anyway...the sushi overall tasted pretty good, but if you want to have real traditional sushi, I would go all the way to Frankfurt to Iwase...

Very small place. Be ready to wait for a table (or share a bigger table with others which I did). Also be prepared to wait a bit once you order food. Warning. They only accept German credit cards. Otherwise make sure you have cash!

4 Makis will costs you 7,50€. This shop is very expensive for a usual taste. We ordered Ramen and it tasted like standard noodles in a brew. We were simply disappointed. Nice location though.
