Salve! Caffe E Bar - Darmstadt

This place offers a really nice way to spend an afternoon just people watching (it is located in the shopping street in Darmstadt)...and you can sit outside almost during the whole year. Coffee is really good, service attentive but overwhelmed on a busy and sunny Saturday afternoon.

Went to this cafe for a cup of Italian coffee and a biscuit - the prices turned out to be very much on the high side.The boss, as I understood it, was rather unfriendly and the young waitress rather helpless. A woman at a neighbour table spilled her drink out and got no help from the personell after a few of us rushed to help and ask for cleaning materials. No comfort or friendly words. Had a bad feeling when leaving

They just renovated the place recently, looks very pretty now! The coffee is very good, they have a nice display of snacks and cakes. I prefer this to supporting the bigger chains... The prices are totally fine. For around 3 euros you get a very good sized beverage. I recommend the freddo drink a lot, the housemade milk mixture that may be added to your coffee!

Very cosy and nice location in the center of Darmstadt. Good place for dating, friends gathering, reading books and relaxing.

Apparently friendly and flexible costumer service is an unknown concept in this establishment. No intention of coming back anytime soon.
