Restaurant Herrngarten Im Welcome Hotel Darmstadt

Very nice hotel. For 4 stars I expected better. Maybe I was just unlucky with my room. I had mold in the shower. That's a clear point deduction for me. Restaurant.. Ate very tasty tarte flambée.. but I personally didn't find the one waiter particularly exciting. I guess he wanted to be a bit funny... but it just backfired and wasn't well received by several people. Maybe he was just having a bad day, we all do. All in all... it was great Rooms: 3

This is not a 4 star standard!!! Never again. Rooms old and worn. Restaurant closed. (No notice on the homepage) Rooms: Furniture old and worn equipment spartan. Bathroom interior 4 stars?! A joke. Walkability: Located in the center Food drinks: Restaurant was closed. Breakfast was good, although the atmosphere, cleanliness and facilities in the breakfast restaurant were more like that of a 2 star seminar hotel. Rooms: 2

Very nice and cozy hotel a few bus stops away from the railway station, and in the middle of the city overlooking the Darmstadt University. Can highly recommend, I liked everything, and the breakfasts are delicious Rooms: Clean, good, carpet on the floors, TV set, wifi, phone in the room. Rooms: Die übliche kompakte Form eines Businesshotels, aber wertig eingerichtet. Walkability: Man ist in 5 min in der Innenstadt Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value

The restaurant is situated next to the city center, but in a quite area. I had a hamburger which was good.
