Palmetto Cafe Pantry - Darlington

Walked in immediately felt welcomed loved! definitely coming back!

This is a new establishment that's going to need to work on their customer service. Especially the greeting of their customers. Say's the the open at 6a.m. but they didn't open until after 8a.m. you seat yourself. We originally sat at a table than moved to the bar area, because nobody greeted us or came to the table to service us. When we walked in there was a man who seemed to work there in full conversation with a gentleman who was a customer. The man never greeted us until we moved from the table to the bar. food was just ok. Nothing amazing. You can tell that the people cooking doesn't have real experience in cooking. Food wasn't hot and we had grits. I give the food about a 4 out of 10. I don't see this business lasting at the rate it's going.

Good “meat and three” restaurant with a fresh buffet that changes daily (see their Facebook page for details). Old school Southern cooking for a good price, worth a stop!
