Concrete Duck - Darlinghurst

We were greeted by a cosy, relaxed cafe space and very friendly service when we arrived for lunch. The waffles were delicious but I would've personally liked to have them with icecream rather than raspberry sorbet. We ordered the dumplings as there weren't many savoury choices other than burgers and sandwiches. The dry filling was interesting but didn't really hit the spot.

Great food and lovely service. Went here for lunch randomly one day and hubby and I were pleasantly surprised. The fish of the day special was Salmon and oh so yummy, and cheap I think it was $16.00. I paid $27 for a Salmon dish elsewhere recently and it was as bland as my thumbnail. My husband had the chicken sandwich and he was happy with his order as well. Would love to go back there to try their dinner menu.

Only had coffee and dessert here. Coffee was from Mutch and Moore. Well made but don't think I was a fan of the coffee beans. Biscotti was great. Wouldn't mind trying some of their other cakes and pastries.

Doar aici cafeaua și desertul au avut aici. Cafeaua a venit de la Mutch și Moore. Foarte bine, dar nu credeți că am fost un fan al fasolei de cafea. Biscotti a fost grozav. Nu m-am deranjat să încerc câteva dintre celelalte prăjituri și produse de patiserie.

Am fost întâmpinați de o cameră de cafea confortabilă și relaxată și un serviciu foarte prietenos când am ajuns la prânz. Vașlele erau delicioase, dar nu mi-ar fi plăcut să o am cu înghețată cu gheață ca o sorbet de zmeură. Am comandat găluștele, deoarece nu au existat multe decizii consistente ca burgeri și sandwich-uri. Umplerea uscată a fost interesantă, dar nu chiar pe pată.
