This is a small but dim lighted bar and restaurant giving off a tropical vibe. I had the appetizer sampler chicken and a beef empanada, ham croquettes, yuca fries, ropa vieja and Piccadillo with a garlic sauce on the side. We also ordered a coconut mojito and a bistec empanisada. For dessert we took a guava cheesecake and a vanilla flan to go. They also bought Cuban bread to the table with an onion sauce that tasted like onions on a NY hot dog. food was hands down perfect. Everything was fried perfectly and seasoned well. The garlic sauce was watery and I’m used to a thicker mojo sauce but it was flavorful. My mojito had coconut shavings and the right amount of alcohol. Will have to say this is the best Cuban food that I’ve tasted and the food was plated delicately. The only thing I noticed was rust surrounding the ac vent above us. I tried not to look up. Other than that great food and good music just loud enough to listen to but not so loud where you can’t hear yourself. #tryit

The service was quick and friendly. Their hot sauce was very good!

We ate here twice on our Florida trip (arrival/departure) and both times it was really excellent. By far the best meal of the trip and definitely in the top 5% of my experiences in the USA. We had Cubanos the first time. Today shrimp ceviche and the catch of the day (red snapper). This was the best fish preparation I've had in a long time. Perfectly grilled and a huge piece of fish.

Best Cuban around. Super cute inside. Always delicious!
