Dairy Queen - Darien

The ice cream I was served started melting before I even left the store, and the blizzard consistency was more like liquid than anything else. They really need to either adjust their equipment or train the staff on how to properly serve ice cream. Given how disappointing this experience was, I can only imagine how bad a burger might be. I'll be getting my ice cream from across the street at the Darien, Georgia location instead.

I was disappointed with my experience at the restaurant because they were out of everything I wanted, from chicken tenders and chicken bites to bananas. It was frustrating to have to go through three different staff members at the order kiosk. Each time I placed an order, the person helping me had to leave to check on availability, and then someone else would come back on the speaker to continue. It took me 18 minutes to place my order and receive my food, and there was no line to wait in.

Then I noticed people dining inside, so I parked and went in. The entire staff looked at me and rolled their eyes. There were three people in line ahead of me, and when it was my turn, they told me, "I'm sorry, we're only serving ice cream." I expressed my confusion about them saying they were closed, but they ignored my question and asked what I wanted. I replied that I wanted nothing now and left. I truly don't understand why they misled me, and the only explanation I can come up with is that it was due to my skin color. I'm still deeply hurt and offended by this experience.

OUTSTANDING! Awesome friendly customer service, something that is really missing these days. Restaurant lobby was clean, another thing you don?t find often these days. Highly recommend if you?re traveling I-95 near Darien I suggest stop and have a greatexperience. Food was fresh and brought to our table quickly. The folks here are doing things they way they should be done.

This is the Dairy Queen Experience I remember as a kid. Health Score 100% !!! YAY! Clean bathrooms and lobby. Friendly staff. Ordered #9, #10, and 1 Chili Cheese Dog $25.12. Onion rings, Fries, Burgers and Dog were all delicious, hot andfresh. Will be back!
