Johnny Bear's - Darien Center

Great place!. I stopped in at Johnny Bear's after the Bills home game against New England (go Bills!!! . There was a line to the door because other people had the same idea. The service was excellent! I thought I would be in line for awhile, but their friendly, efficient staff took orders quickly and kept the line moving. I also didn't have to wait long for my food (less than 10 minutes , wihich was suprising considering how busy it was, and they brought it to my table. I couldn't believe how good the burger was (and it was so cheap less than $2 . A fresh hand made burger on a Costanzo's roll doesn't get any better than that! The fries were cut from fresh potatoes (you could see someone in back cutting them and the portion was huge. They were delicious (not like the process fries you usually get . I also had a shake that was made with REAL ice cream you don't see that much anymore. I will definitely go back.

Great place to eat!. The food is excellent, and the location is extremely convenient for both locals, and travelers visit Darien Lake Theme Park. I would recommend the pommes cut at home, and each of their burgers (they are all very good)! The burgers, salads and tomatoes are always fresh. This is a great place to eat every season!

Babyburgers are the best! The quarter pound is just the right size for me, I must have it at least once a week! Best Burgers!

Absolutely fantastic!. I had many meals at Johnny Bear and this place hasn't disappointed me yet. The Burger Patties are so fresh and seasonal fantastic! I don't know how delicious the rolls are. The fried chicken breast sandwich is also great! It's crisp and not fat. The chicken fingers are crunchy, and an order is very large. A great improvement they have made is with their pommes. They were always good, but back when JBs opened in summer, the pommes were thinner and somewhat oily. Now they are thicker cut, so they are not fat at all, and the portions are MASSIVE! A basket could feed a small army. And the prices are so low! I always come back here.

Fantastic burgers and fries. My burger was really delicious the meat was fresh, with subtle spices, a homemade bungalow and toppings to order. The handcuffs were extraordinary. Our table taste tested the three variety band, curly and traditional. My favourite was the traditional (non-fat and wonderful taste), but fans of homemade potato chips loved the bandfries best. The portions were a large number of frits is easy enough for 2 3 people. The ice cream from a local cream (Perry's) was also delicious. This place is a jewel in the country!
