Best battered fish in New Zealand and Australia. My wife Vivian and I have sampled fish and chips all over both countries and even the awarded ones and yes they were all nice but Dargaville River Road Dairy and Takeaways are hands down the best for service, food and location, right by the river. If you are anywhere up north, take a trip and see for yourself, we lived in Thames Coast now in Sydney Australia but we always took the trip up when we lived in NZ, now everytime we come home.
