Visited this trendy restaurant martini bar for lunch. The food was wonderful and the ambiance a retro diner atmosphere. But get this, two beautiful servers, Nicole and Courtney (Twins) served us. It was like we were in heaven... efficient, sweet personalities, well trained and cared about our enjoyment and experience. Run don't walk to the Continental... and while there look for Coach Judy and say hi to Nicole Courtney for us... They will remember Gary Natalie, the Florida dislocated travelers hiding out from Dorian the hurricane. Cudos to management for Nicole Courtney and the entire Star Family.

Steven Starr restaurants in Philadelphia Range from moderately priced and trendy (Continental) , upscale- Buddakan to through the roof expensive-Morimoto. All are fine for their respective price points. Our last experience was Buddakan and the food and presentation were excellent. Service was good but not as attentive as past visits.

We went to Philadelphia in July of 2015 and ate here. It is extremely expensive, but absolutely delicious. When we told the kids that we were going back, the first thing that my two sons asked was Can we go to that steakhouse again . I was reluctant to go back because of the price, but ultimately we did. The steak was the best I have ever had (I go to steakhouses in New York, Boston and Washington DC a few times a year). The baked Alaska dessert is unquestionably the best dessert that I have ever had. I absolutely recommend that you swallow hard and go to this restaurant and pay for the out-of-this-world food. I will go back every time I am in Philadelphia,

When in Phila, you can never go wrong if you eat at one of Steven Starr's many restaurants. My favorites still are Buddkan and his first restaurant Continental. Always good food and great lively atmosphere.
