Had food here awhile ago the food was so nasty I couldn't even eat it and I love ribs they were the most nasty ribs I ever had never again. I would give it zero stars if I could.

My name is Vi, and this is a place I frequented at least five time a month under my Detective Agency's name. My order was messed up one day and they promised to replace the meal for free. I had ordered and paid from Grub Hub and NEVER received the food. Today I called to order and pay for two additional meals and I wanted the free meal. Tmory (close to that) did not know or care what I was talking about. He refused to even really entertain the idea at all (said he was new). I said if you don't know than ask somebody. He did and who ever he asked didn't know. That's cool but its not smart business. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN... (YOUR LOSS... I ORDERED THROUGH GRUB HUB and in person (I will never use them again either) 5-6 TIMES A MONTH). Normally, I would have talked to the owner first before writing this review, I didn't this time. Beef ribs were very hard and dried out . Something smelt awfully sour when I opened up the container of macaroni and cheese didn't even eat it. Was totally disappointed spent $40

OMG! The ribs are melt in your mouth good! One platter is more than enough to feed two people. The whole menu is southern scrumptiousness and customers are always treated well. I 've been going there for 20+ years and have never been disappointed, though they could stand to put more cheese in the mac n cheese. Don 't be afraid to try some of the more traditionally southern food fare. If you like chitlins (and if you do, you know you 've gotta be careful where you get 'em) this is the ONLY place to get them! Word to the wise: get the Buck Wild sauce with extreme caution! I swear it 'll burn a hole in your stomach!

Best bbq chicken in philly. Grew up eating the food from here. Can’t go wrong with bbq chicken, yams and greens.
