El Molino Tortilleria - Darby Township

Made me feel I was back in Mexico. The food is outstanding. Truly special place in south Philly. When we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, loving welcome. I got the shrimp tacos, and my son got the spicy chicken tacos, we both devoured our food. I honestly think they were the best tacos I’ve ever had. When we walked in, we saw she was hand making the tortillas. The tortillas alone are worth making the journey. The flavors are so fresh and totally spot on. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about those tacos. I absolutely highly recommend this place if you like Mexican food.

Now, I normally don't leave reviews but this one deserves one. I was craving Birria tacos because my normal spot was running behind (they are a truck) and I needed to get home.So I googled Birria tacos near me. Now I read the reviews and thought this place was legit. When I tell you this was a mistake. Baby, it was a mistake. My Birria tacos was so soggy and not crispy at all. The beef inside was nothing but fat and cut into tiny cubes not shredded like Birria at all. I think it was false advertising and if I could get my money back I would want a 100% refund. Beware or this place if you're looking for Birria tacos.

The food was excellent! Ww tried 3 different meals and were extremely satisfied. If you want Mexican, this is the place to go!

Food was delicious. Even an hour after the meal, my tastes buds were still singing! Service was wonderful. Unfortunately, there was no option to leave tip when paying with credit card and we did not have any cash. So we definitely felt bad not being able to show our gratitude. Thank you for an amazing meal! We will be back!

They make their own tortillas and the ingredients were super fresh. This place is a gem. We had the chicken mole tacos and the cochinita pibil tacos and both were fantastic. Super nice people too.
