Mayberry Cafe - Danville

What an impressive place! I've wanted to come here for ages, but for one reason or another, I never managed to. I'm so glad I finally made it! The food was great and the service was excellent for us, but I did notice another couple having a difficult time getting good service.

I placed a large takeout order for my dad's 90th birthday. Christine assisted me in determining the quantities needed and called me the day before to confirm my pickup time. When I arrived to collect the order, everything was ready, and three employees helped carry it all to my car! The customer service was fantastic, and the food was delicious!

I drove 100 miles to visit this café, and it was absolutely worth the journey! We enjoyed the Andy Griffith Show memorabilia and the connections to the menu items, such as the Sheriff Taylor Tenderloin and Aunt Bea’s Fried Biscuits with Apple Butter. The staff was really friendly, too. It felt like Sheriff Taylor's car was parked outside, ready to hit the road for a patrol.

Fantastic staff, wonderful atmosphere, and it truly feels like the best home-cooked meal you can find outside the charming town of Mayberry! I'm sure even Aunt Bee would approve!

Charming and tidy restaurant with a simple country style. It's the perfect spot to satisfy your cravings for fried foods and fresh vegetables. The waitress was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.
