I would love to tell you the food was spectacular, but I will never know. We arrived for what was to be a romantic date on a Sunday evening to a restaurant front with absolutely no greeter. After five minutes the busboy told us “Come here” and seated us at this tiny table against a wall. He left and returned promptly with menus and bread and butter. Then we sat, and sat, and sat… for twenty minutes! The tables around us were visited by servers several times yet we were completely ignored. My date got up and went to the front hoping to get someone’s attention, but to no avail. After almost five minutes, the same busboy who seated us asked what the problem was. My date explained to him that no one had come to ask us what we would like to drink, nor to take our order for dinner. The busboy responded “Ok” and we waited another five minutes at our table…. again, no one bothered to come to us. We then got up to leave, walking by the servers in our area who did not even question why. I have never been to a restaurant with such horrible customer service. I can understand being busy, but at least make an effort to acknowlege your dining guests! I will never return, nor would I ever recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Do you remember Ursala, the somewhat challenged waitress, from “Mad about You” TV series? Well if so you can see her in action at Dania’s Lorenzo’s Italian Restaurant. (Actually not the original Ursala but a good fact simile working under the name of Amy). We new we were in trouble when we arrived and found no one to greet us. Finally a bus boy arrived and guided us to what turned out to be our entertainment for the evening, named Amy. We had never eaten at this restaurant before and decided to do so because it was named after me “Lorenzo”. I just wanted to see if it lived up to my name. Amy was a very pleasant waitress but evidently did not take her job to seriously. She did not bother with such necessary details like asking whether you wanted soup or salad, or what type of dressing you wanted on your salad. No, it was easier not to ask because that would save her a trip to the kitchen. Why bother, in her words “it’s not that good anyway.” We ordered 2 Chicken Parmagiana’s with extra garlic. Soon after our bread arrived and we were surprised it was not garlic bread and sent it back to be replaced by garlic bread. Our chicken parmagiana arrived and we asked where our garlic bread was. Halfway into our entrees Amy returned with our garlic bread and said “sorry for the delay the bus boy forgot about it and left it in the oven.” It smelled delicious but found it was overcooked. Amy came by to see if it was indeed edible and we did not want to send it back again and just made do rather than extend our dinner any longer. The chicken parm was good and we ordered another one to go with more garlic bread. Amy supposedly took the order. A while later she came by and asked if there was anything else she could get us and we asked about our take out order. Amy looked confused and she said “you never told me about a take out order.” I told her we did, that we ordered a chicken parm to go with another garlic bread. Amy said “oh I just thought you wanted more bread. And did you want soup or salad with that?” We said you never offered us soup or salad with our original dinners. Amy said oh,sorry can I offer you some dessert on the house? We have ice cream and cannoli’s. My wife had the cannoli and I asked for chocolate ice cream. Amy told us they only had vanilla and she could put chocolate syrup on it. I said that would be fine. Amy soon arrived with the cannoli’s but stated they were all out of ice cream but she could recommend the toasted almond cake which is much better than the ice cream. I said that would be fine. My wife asked for a fork since none was provided with the cannoli. Soon Amy returned to announce they were all out of toasted almond cake so she brought rum cake which she said is much better than the toasted almond cake which was much better than the ice cream. Amy left us to try our desserts which we both found to be stale, After a wait Amy returned with our takeout order. It seemed that once again she had not brought us garlic bread. We sent it back to be made into garlic bread. After a bit of a wait Amy returned with the garlic bread. She asked if there was anything else she could get for us and we said just the check. Instead of a check she arrived with a second take out order. When she arrived at our table she saw we all ready had our take out order and turned around and headed back to the kitchen with our original takeout order. A half hour later another waitress came by and said our waitress would be by soon she had to rewrite our check. Finally it arrived and we paid it and left and chuckled shouldn’t there be a service charge for entertainment. We kept thinking we were going to see Alan Funt arrive and say Smile your on candid camera.

It wasn’t very crowded on this Saturday night, which is always a big tip off. The place seemed a little shabby. There was live entertainment: a guy playing an out-of-tune piano and singing songs that were mostly pre-Baby Boomer. The waitresses were very nice, but it took about an hour to get the food, which was very mediocre. We ordered from the menu, and the prices weren’t cheap, but the prices of the specials were outrageous! In all, it was a big disappointment.

If i could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst thing I've ever recieved on doordash. I got the burrito and it was just stale hard taco shells with toppings on the side, which tasted terrible by the way. everything just tasted old and stale. If I could put a picture of the food i recieved i would. Also it arrived 2 HOURS LATE. DONT order from here.

Could not order the banana split iv been ordering they up charged it from nine dollars to now eleven plus for the small it was already pricy before for the size and now you can't even choose your flavors or sides so sorry now have to find new place that's ridiculous
