The Fish Grill - Dania Beach

From the moment we walked in the door to the moment I took my first bite of this most incredible fish dish, all my senses became alive. This specialty dish of Broiled Scod was the exact thing I was in the mood for. It not only was beautifully presentedbut I must say the absolute most delicious prepared fish I have had in years! The service is extremely attentive without beingintrusive. The ambiance is so lovely with an old established open stone walls and wood floors. Just warm feeling of welcomewith top notch food from A-Z!!

This place surprised my husband and myself. We went a bit late probably about 10pm, they close at 11pm. The first server who saw us you could tell she didn't want us in there, but we had a gentleman approach us and unfortunately I don't recall gettinghis name. He was on it and way more warm and welcoming than the lady. Anyway, the food was delicious!!!! And the brought eachcourse to the customers. I had the fresh snapper fried, it was cooked perfectly. Along with perfectly cooked fries. The pastasalad was more of a sweet slaw tasting dressing I didn't care for that. My husband had the crab cakes and it was really goodtoo. There was a lot of herbs and chunks of crab meat. Both enrees came with 2 side and a choice of a soup or salad. The newengland clam chowder is made in house ???? I wanted more lol. I gave service a 4 star as a total, based of the 2 servers and 1bartender we had seen. All in all, we were impressed.

We went here due to the 5 star reviews. This place is overpriced and food we had was disgusting. New England Clam Chowder... lots of mushy potatoes; barely any clams; gel-like consistency; weird flavor. Steamers appetizer... small, shriveled, sandyclams; weird oily, garlicky broth??? Just use normal, simple clam broth please! Baked Scrod... person who ordered it said verysalty. Broiled sea scallops... yucky tasting meat; definitely not fresh; drowning in oil. Fried whole belly clams... worstI've ever had. Were these clams freeze-dried or something? j/k. The size of the pieces indicate that they really are wholebelly clams, but the bellies are not plump; more like shriveled. The clams were tasteless. Mixed vegetables side dish... wayovercooked and drowning in the same oily, garlicky concoction they seem to use in most of the dishes. Cole Slaw side dish...okay. Sweet tea... very diluted... two people in group said it's like water plus lots of sugar. None of us finished our meals. I ate about a third of my whole belly clams... first time ever I did not finish off a clams meal, albeit they did give me a lotof clams. For the price they are charging, you'd expect food quality on parwith top tier restaurants.

I had the fish and chips knowing that the coat, would not be cri spie a few minutes in the air fryer and I had a perfect dinner. The portion was big. The fish was excellent the fries perfect. I will most definitely order again

I am a super big fan of fish and chips, from the UK to Victoria BC, to Seattle and San Fran and the PNW and I just loved theirs <3!! And the portion sizes for clam chowder (delicious btw) was more than this fish fan could ha dlein one day and icant wait to have it tomorrow. The fries were hot and crispy and so was the fresh fish. Ill definitey be back and highly recommend it. Oh and another thing: more fish than breading and they gave me plenty of malt vinegar. Friendly people too.
