Salsa Fresca Mexican Grill - Danbury

Had I known the water was $3.75...and that I would be spending pennies shy of $20 for a small/reg sized lunch I would have gone to Lil Bit Eatery or Hacienda down the street. Came here a year ago, don't recall it being quite this expensive. Staff pleasant, seems clean but way overpriced, so won't be back.

Lately the portion sizes have reduced drastically. This applies to everything from rice, beans, meat, salsa, and even jalapenos. I understand that there is inflation, but they have also increased prices. They provide about 50% of the food that Chipotle offers for the same price.

Salsa Fresca is that is outstanding! Their food is remarkable and their staff is extremely kind. I was able to meet one of their managers, Brian Bergen, who truly cares about not only his workers but the atmosphere of the restaurant that makes each customer feel comfortable. I certainly would recommend this place to anyone who is up for some good Mexican food!

Better than Chipotle. The food is always fresh and delicious. Allergen friendly with lots of vegan options. I like to get the bowl with roasted vegetables.

Whoever you have working there this evening 10/30/22 find out who did quality control and or made the guacamole and chips. The best I have had and I order frequently. Promote this individual and put them in place going forward.
