I came here today for the first time all the way from New Jersey. I am Lebanese and have eaten great Lebanese food all my life. This was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Excellent service, big portions, and great tasting food. This restaurant is a gem. I highly recommend to all
The food was delicious, the restaurant and shop were clean and organized. They gave us free baklava and it was lovely chatting with the owner. We hope to come back soon.
It's hard to earn 1 star, but here's how:1. Serve me rotten meat.2. Argue with me telling me you cooked it fresh. Our poor waitress was very nice, but when I told her the beef was bad she told the owner of course. He came out of the kitchen to convince me I was wrong. It was like an episode of kitchen nightmares with delusional owners claiming they have the best food. All you have to do is take a look around at all of the empty tables to know the truth. Not only was my beef (gyro) bad, but the pickles on my wife's shawarma platter were bad, and despite the heavy spices, the chicken in her shawarma was starting to go bad.I had to tell the waitress I needed to leave immediately and to bring us the check ASAP because I didn't want to get sick inside the restaurant....though maybe I should have as proof to the owner that he served me rotten food. It's one thing to serve something that's gone bad. Mistakes happen. That's understandable. It's another thing entirely to tell the sick customer he's wrong.I'd avoid this place like the plague, because sick is what you'll get from eating here.
What great fresh food, big portions, and delicious home made
