Salt Creek Grille - Dana Point

Great happy hour prizes and great bartenders make this a simple choice. we love the happy hour sushi and edamame. and the great martinis. beautiful large bar, as well as outdoor dining area with a firebox.

They sat kindly 2 small children, 2 parents and 2 large parents away from the hectic and the trubel. the portions are large and we had a lot to take home. I recommend the beignets and the huevos ranchero from the Brunch menu.

If the review were based solely on the food and our waiter it would have been a 5 star review. The ribs are to die for and the butter cake was delicious. However, we were rudely interrupted mid-fork into our main dishes by the manager turning the lights to last call' level. The table behind us also had the same reaction. After speaking with our waiter, both tables were visited by the manager who had no interest in making the remainder of our experience pleasurable by turning the lights back down. We were seated at 8:30 and the last call' lights were turned up at 9:30. It was such a disappointing end to a really good meal served by a really good waiter. Probably would have given 4 stars if the manager had cared at all about our experience.

The hotel is located at the border of laguna niguel and laguna beach! they have the best appetizers and drinks. it is an elegant casual restaurant and the prices are affordable.

Very happy with eating and service. had the squash ravioli and it was great. my friend had the laughs and it was really delicious. they were good over substitutions. I will definitely return.
