Good Indian cuisine. The ambiance was nice and the staff was quick on their feet and very helpful. Overall, a good experience.

Nice warm place. Warm lighting. Good reception staff. Wide variety of Indian recipes. The taste is so rich but also hot so take care!! The price is little bit high but not so expensive. (Average price 40 SAR)

Very nice restaurant. Saffron Indian Restaurant is located at the main road near Sheraton hotel. Parking space is available in front of the hotel also you can park you can on nearby street backside of the hotel. Restaurant provides Indian, Chinese, Asian and Arabic meals and snacks. However, it is famous for typical Indian menu as they have proudly mentioned in the name itself being an Indian restaurant. Ambience inside the restaurant is very nice. Lighting is appropriate. Centrally located glass bubbles hanging with fishing-threads decorative piece is very attractive. Toilets though was very clean to use, cleaning schedule with signature of person “checklist” was however missing inside the toilet. Checklist at the door gives confidence to customer that it will remain clean all the time as attendant schedule is displayed. We went there on party organized as a send-off-party given to me by my close friends. We occupied one hall while children used another smaller hall with central big round table. Outside view from the windows overlooking the main road and shops banner boards looked very nice from inside the hall. However, we closed the beautiful violet colored curtains on the windows to sit privately with families. Food served was very nice and the person who served us, was speaking both English and Hindi, he was knowledgeable and served with smile on face. Food cost was okay and overall experience was nice. I will give between 3-4 star for this restaurant. One star reduced for menu card and half star for missing checklist inside toilet. One must check with waiter if a particular food is in your mind and not available in the menu.

Expected authentic Indian food. It wasn’t. Buffet was a mixture of some kind of mild flavoured dished. Missing spices and boost. Only one curry in the buffet. But, it wasn’t expensive either. Won’t go back. Typically a restaurant that downgraded it’s origins to cater local Arab taste.
