The Black Dog Inn, Dalton-in-furness

Second time we've stayed here. First time was in the rooms above the Inn and the second was at the cottage. It's a really gorgeous place and the staff seriously go above and beyond for you. We cannot recommend this place enough. Food is always delicious. Drinks are well priced. I have zero issues with The Black Dog Inn and cannot wait to revisit. My wife and I recently decided to take our son to The South Lakes Zoo, so thought it would be a good idea to stay over. We're so happy we booked this place as we had a great experience. The room was really spacious, clean and had a small terrace with brilliant views. The staff were all really friendly and the breakfast was of a very high standard. My dairy intolerance was catered for, and this added that extra touch of service, especially with the delicious granola Berry compote. Cannot fault this place and for the very reasonable price, cannot recommend enough and will definitely be returning. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
