The Cheesecake Factory

I went to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place has changed quite a bit since COVID, but the food was good—though not exceptional. The drinks could use a bit more flavor if you're looking to really enjoy them. On the plus side, the service was excellent, and I had no issues with the staff.

I've visited the Cheesecake Factory about four times, with two visits to this location and two at other locations outside the state. During my first visit here, I found the food to be nothing special. I ordered the fettuccini alfredo, which is one of my favorite dishes, but it turned out to be somewhat dry. Hoping for a better experience, I returned with my family for a second try. This time, I opted for a classic burger, but unfortunately, it was just as disappointing; the burger patty was dry as well. I think I’ll refrain from returning for anything other than their desserts, which I've always enjoyed. The food I've tried has been average at best, and given the prices, I don't find it worth it. I'll stick with their desserts instead.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! We kicked off our meal with drinks: Moscato and a Whiskey Smash. The Whiskey Smash was exceptional—refreshing with a delightful mix of orange and whiskey. For our main course, we chose the Jamaican Spicy Pepper Shrimp served with black beans, rice, and plantains. It was absolutely the best dish I've had there! Brad ordered the Bang Bang Chicken and Shrimp, which is served in a delicious peanut Thai curry sauce—it was nearly as good as my dish. We managed to eat half of our meals and boxed up the remainder to save room for dessert. We indulged in both the Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Cheesecake and the Pecan Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake. Everything was delicious!

We had lunch with family in NC today and ordered a lot of nice entrees. I personally tasted the orange chicken. All white meat chicken and the breading was not heavy. The orange sauce was nice and light. The plating was really nice too. I tried the Tex mex egg rolls that were seasoned very well and the guacamole dipping sauce was a nice pairing. I tasted the pineapple cheesecake that was wonderful. I?m told the chicken and dumplings was seasoned well and delicious. The shrimp was not a crowd pleaser due to lack of seasoning. The chicken that went with the waffles lacked seasoning as well. Overall I would return. The service was wonderful. We did not have to wait for a table although they were extremely busy.

I haven?t been here in ages. This was my children first time. Oh the menu, so much to choose from. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. We all enjoyed our food but one child who felt her chicken sandwich was a little on the dry side. The lemon drop was delicious. The person who clean the tables don?t take the time to make sure the seats are clean. But overall this was an enjoyable trip.
