Ascension Coffee The Sound

Came very excited to enjoy the fall flight by the lake. It was pretty busy, Sunday lunch rush. We were seated right away and outside was beautiful. Unfortunately, our server was pretty rude and hardly came by. After waiting for the check for a bit, we went inside to find her sitting at the bar eating. There were a few large groups near us that were pretty loud which killed the atmosphere. Food was good quality but small quantity didn’t feel like $40 worth. Overall, glad I went but don’t expect to be back.

The server was the worst, took forever to check on our table, to even make eye contact, bring our food and drinks.Not saying that I waited forever for my receipt and I’ve never received.Do not come to this place if you just want to eat in peace and be well treated.Serves needs training.

Pastrami hash is simply divine! And so is the horchata latte. Everything I ever order here is perfectly prepared and fresh!

Food and coffee is really good, service is another thing. Sat outside for 10 mins nobody’s came, went inside to get some one and waited another 10-15 mins to get my order taken.

Me and my gf went there for an early breakfast saw this place had good reviews when we came in and sat down we were sitting there for 10 minutes with nobody attending us i went to the front and was told to just wait while that was going on my gf waived down a waitress and the waitress told her that my gf has to let her know that we are waiting in a very rude way after that we waited for another 10 minutes again while the waitress attended others beside us and walked past us so we just got up and left. We understand that places are short staffed but she could have told us hey give us a minute but the way she told my gf was disrespectful
