La Espanola Ii - Dalhart

I've been here for more than 30 years and it's the same as I remember since the first visit. if they want a good Tex sex in the opposite, this is the place to go. they also have traditional American cuisine.

Drive them through Texas to come back to colorado and considered some Mexican foods here in the middle of nowhere, pleasantly surprised that it was quite good. I especially liked their chips (fresh and hot) and their salsa (excellent).

Good food, good service. My mother-in-law lives in Dalhart. We'll be back.

This was a great find for us. We normally buzz thru Dalhart without a second thought. But since New Mexico is iffy right now with their Covid restrictions/shut down, we decided to stop and try someplace new. The service was excellent and the food was awesome. If they had jars of their hot sauce for sale, I would have a few of them right now. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The chips were warm and covered with freshly grated cheese. (You can have them without, but WHY would you do THAT)

Always my favorite Mexican food in town! You must have the sopapillas! Also add the cheese to the chips trust me. So good! Staff here are amazing and always so kind. I do wish they would update. Been them same decor and carpet for the last 30 years.
