Maria's Batchoy - Dalaguete

Love the food. Price is more than fair. Restaurant is clean. I wish when the front dining room get full, I wish they would open the back room.

Food is alright, parking space at the back, clean c.r., airconditioned dining area.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR TRAVELERS looking for good treatment and experience! I iust finished my meal. Earlier, we went to the counter and nobody entertained us. An attendant then came and was so DEMANDING on us placing our orders so she can serve it in one go. As if that's not enough, she got in a heated altercation with my friend and was so demeaning. For the price, 3 times more expensive and not even better tasting than the batchoy or other meals served by sidewalk vendors. In fairness, lavatory is not so dirty though still need some cleaning.

Went here as it was one of the few places open at 10 PM on Sunday. Hearty, affordable batchoy and accomodating staff. Enjoyed it lots before heading back to the city.

I like how they place an egg to their batchoy; not only it looks good, it tastes good if you mix it well. I also like their food options, not only they sell the best batchoy in town but they also sell delicious meals either you order it for them to cook or turo-turo style. The restaurant is also clean with functioning comfort rooms. The place is also air-conditioned, very ideal during hot summer days. What I really don 't like is the price of their food. Its so pricey.
