Bistro Maloleno - Dakbayan sa Malolos

Great tasting food with great presentation. Food is original on it's own with a little of Philippine History and the country's heros from the Spanish colonial times. We had lunch here today. The staff had On-the-job trainees, so the service wasn't all that I expected. The ambiance would have been great with the decor and furniture of Spanish times if it wasn't for the type of music and loud students occupying the other table. Dinner time? Could be different...

Good food. The ambiance is ok. Not expensive too. The place is clean. There is a function hall which is also not expensive that you can use for birthdays and events.

Been here twice to try food that was said to be the favorite of our bayani's. Some food was new to me and its interesting. Some are just the same with different name. The taste is also good but dont over expect. Overall is just normal.restaurant

1.kare-kare was served with no vegetables. It's all meat. 2. Few containers were empty. (Later put out some of the food when we were almost done with our meal). 3. Old, bad tasting watermelon was served. Nope..not fresh. It's like it was from yesterday's leftover.or maybe from their last week buffet service based on how it tasted. Gross 4. 220pesos or 250pesos per person and we didn't get the most of it. Few dishes weren't serve. I hate myself for saying this but one of the worst places here in Malolos

We went there earlier to try the food and asked if they have solo or ala carte order but the attendant said that they ran out of stock and that only buffet meal is all they can offer at the moment. So, we went ahead. After a few minutes, another group came in. And the attendants gave them a menu for solo orders. Wow. Thank you for your honesty Bistro Maloleño. By the way, food is not bad. Nothing special though.
