Pie In The Sky Tea Rooms - Dacorum

We visited this charming tea room after a bike ride along the Nickey Line with our children. It was a wonderful, traffic-free cycling route. We enjoyed tea, coffee, and delicious cake at the tea room. It was the perfect way to end our day.

Whenever I am in Hemel, I always make sure to stop by Pie in the Sky. Their homemade lunch options are not only delicious and healthy, but also made with love. The staff are very friendly and the cafe itself is a charming little Georgian building in Hemel Old Town, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I really appreciate the unique touch of having a cafe and hairdresser sharing the same building. It's like a much nicer version of Sweeney Todd! Despite all of these great aspects, the prices are also very reasonable. I recently enjoyed 2 lattes, quiche, and salad for less than £8.

Wow ! What a treasure of a place .. beautiful fresh finger sandwiches , scones to die for and then perfect bite size cakes to finish .. staff were lovely . A lovely treat and all for under £25 for 2 ... will definitely recommend and return . Thank you !

So we came across here on the off chance and it was a nice day so thought let's pop in (it was a Sunday) so the tea room is very cute with out door seating both at the front and at the back in the garden (you cut through a hair dressers to get to it, the shot is split into two tea room at front hair dresser at back) we placed our order and it went down hill from there! We only had 1 hour on the parking and it took close to 35min for one Sandwich, a jacket potato and some hummus, the food is good quality and the staff lovely but it needs to direction and prober guidance... If they can manage there times better then this would be a gem

Having recently moved to Hemel, I was excited to discover this charming tea room with a cosy atmosphere. However, I was disappointed with the service during my visit with my mum. Despite a good selection on the menu, the restaurant was quite quiet. We inquired about the afternoon tea, and the waitress informed us it would take about 20 minutes, which was acceptable. We ended up ordering sandwiches, but were surprised to find out that all food would take 20 minutes, even though there were only a few customers waiting. After a long wait, the food finally arrived, and while it was tasty (I had a bacon and brie panini), there was a large hair in it. The staff apologized but offered no refund or replacement. We decided to ask for a refund as our appetite was ruined and we needed to leave. Only the cost of the panini was refunded. In today's day and age, there is no excuse for finding hair in food. Perhaps on other days, with different staff, this place may offer a better experience.
