I had a fantastic afternoon tea at Black Goo today. The food was gorgeous and there was a lot of it! The sausage rolls and scotch eggs had the most delicious pastry. I highly recommend it.
This is my favorite cafe. The cakes are large and delicious. They have a lovely brunch menu and daily specials. It's a fantastic spot that I visit frequently and am never disappointed. It can get busy at times, so I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. My favorites are definitely the granola bowl and the veggie goo with halloumi!
What a find! Such a fantastic visit to Black Goo nestled in the rafters of Home and Colonial, it’s rightfully busy a lot so it looks like it’s advisable to book, we visited on the off chance and they got us a table in 15 minutes, perfect amount of time to browse the aladdins cave and pop back and it was so worth the wait, I can’t wait to visit the rest of their cafes!
Second time I have tried to consume food and coffee here. Waited to be seated, which is a plus, and the proceed to wait for my order to be taken. 10 minutes later I walked out. Plenty of staff who are in need of focusing on the customer rather than clearing tables and hiding behind the counter.
