This lovely bar offers a selection of wine, spirits, and beer. The staff, including Nathan Taylor, are friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The owner, George, is charming and takes the time to talk to every table to ensure everyone is satisfied. Sitting in the sun room on the lower level, with its three walls of huge windows, is a beautiful experience in the late afternoon. There are also two TVs to watch sports games, such as the STROS. The toasted Rebel Yell sandwich with Swiss cheese is delicious and the Haggis Mash, a family recipe, offers a unique combination of ground lamb, mashed turnips, and mashed potatoes in every bite. The meat pie is also a tasty snack. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy a drink (or two) with laid-back company.

My husband and I absolutely adore this pub. The atmosphere is so much fun and the people are incredibly friendly. This is our go-to spot for hanging out.

Scottish food in our hood. Great appetizer type food?very modest sizes, choices and prices. Pub and grill, but lack of draft choices and Scottish drink menu. They were out of the stokies?the one thing we wanted. Food tasted good, but nothing revolutionary. Very fresh puff pastries and flavorful sausage. Never had shepherds pie with cheese on it. Presentation needs working on, as food served in paper bowls with plastic cutlery. I would give them a three, but the steakpie saved them. Plus, there?s a guy there with the hottest Scottish accent and everyone was so nice.

This is a small, family-run bar with a friendly and lively atmosphere. We had a great time and definitely plan to return. The bartender, Taylor, was energetic and fun. Despite being busy, he remained cheerful and kept the drinks coming.

Nicest people on Earth, or close to. Not your standard pub not too many beers to choose from, and food isn?t a huge thing there. They do serve some nice whiskies too although we didn?t enjoy this time around.
