Hot Wok - Cypress

I have been coming here for years since I moved to Fairfield and it has always been delish! Today I changed my usual order to try something new. Ordered Mongolian Delight. When I got home, the entree was full of ONIONS and a small amount of chicken, beef and 2 shrimps! The onions took half the bowl which my every bite was full of onions! I separated the onions and the meat in which I will provide a picture of it with the exception of 2 shrimps I had eaten. The plate on the left is all ONIONS! I called the place and complained but was told that that’s how the plate is served. I told the lady nowhere on the menu stated that it was half a pound of ONIONS at all! That for future reference to our that on the menus description instead of expecting the actual beef, chicken and shrimp with magnolia sauce. Very very disappointed!

Hot Wok is our go-to spot for delicious Chinese take out food! This little gem never disappoints. The crab rangoons are always perfectly crispy and filled with creamy goodness. The Kung Pao Chicken is packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice, making it one of our favorites. We also can't get enough of the House Special Lo Mein—it's a must-try, with a perfect blend of savory ingredients. Whether we're dining in or taking out, Hot Wok consistently delivers fantastic food and fast service. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came here Sunday around 2:30 after shopping at the outlet mall today. We enjoyed our grab ragoon, pepper steak and bourbon chicken. I had the pepper steak and the steak and peppers were delicious. My husband’s chicken was very tender. I was jealous even though I love my pepper steak lol we both love our meals and will come back.

It was a few month back me and husband went to dine in for dinner. We ordered two things couldn’t finish so decided for to go. A short hair lady came wearing glasses and offered to help pack the food so i was like it’s okay i can do it. So she left i payed the bill and left for my car i accidentally took the merchants copy instead of the customer copy. So she ran to my car to give me my copy of bill which was okay my husband took the copy and gave her the merchant copy and i also apologized for my mistake. Then she was like “ oh you didn’t add tips how much would you add tips” so i said i don’t want to add tips today so she cusses me at her own language and stomped my car and left. I would like to change the fact that a customer only add tips when they are happy with their services. People needs to change the fact that tipping is a must NO IT IS NOT A MUST.

Good Chinese food friendly staff. Highly recommend the rice noodle dishes Cook to perfection! If you like spicy, get the Singapore one It comes with Curry. It's really good.
