Restaurant Pachapapa - Cusco

The baby dinner rolls alone (with a dab of the spicy green sauce) is worth a stop here! the empanadas were brilliant, the pizza ok and service by david, as well as any employee who helped was friendly and efficient. would like to go back!

Very beautiful peruvian restaurant where you can taste the authentic local delicacies. we had both the alpaca meat and the guinea pig. it was an experience and very delicious! the personal is great and speaks English.

I'm a little late in reviewing this great spot! The food was so good that I wanted to go back last week when I was there but unfortunately they close earlier than most places. We sat outside and since it was cold in January they had blankets for us and outdoor heaters. The service was so wonderful! The manager or owner did all he could to get us a seat since they were extremely busy. We waited with some wine in the little bar. Definitely a must!! They even cook cuy (guinea pig) in front of you!!

The restaurant has a nice ambiance, if you manage to get a seat outside. We had the cuy al horno (roasted guinea pig) which was tasty and tender, but served with dry potatoes and some boring lettuce. Not what you'd expect from a dish with a relatively high price. We shared the table with interesting people which was actually the best part of the evening. We had a nice overall experience, but it wasn't because of the food.

We had dinner in Pachapapa on our first evening in Cusco. We had not booked a table and were asked to wait in the bar for 15 to 20 minutes which was fine. However we ordered drinks as soon as we got into the bar but then waited and waited for all of 20 minutes for the drinks to be provided despite a couple of reminders to the bar staff.Once we sat down for dinner I am afraid it was a very similar story. Service was very slow which is a real pity because the food was actually very good.
