Papillon Restaurant - Cusco

After we tried to taste this restaurant (which has a newer name btw), we decided to try it. The food was good, but not great, and I take a star for the employee who took my friend's credit card back with the bill. I thought that was very strange (because all places bring the credit card machine to you and my local friend never said leave your credit card with everyone), this was the only place that did that, and a few days later my friend had fraudulent activity on their credit card that was caught by Chase. Too bad the staff ruined the restaurant.

We discovered pavilion offer cheese fondue on the menu so decided to visit at Boxing Day to get our Christmas cheese fixed while away from home. We shared this with some Pisco sours and guinea pigs, as we wanted to try for the first time to order the medium GP instead of the full size. All food and drink was delicious (although I have nothing to compare the GP), initially I was worried that the fondue would not be great, but it was delicious and with plenty of bread for diving. We also sat on the balcony so we had a look at the place. Beautiful ambience and service recommended!

What a great meal and a super reasonable cost! The service was fast and accurate, the food was delicious and as a bonus there was a three-part Peruvian band that we dinate. I wouldn't have asked for a better evening.

Great view from second story overlooking Plaza de Armas. Grab a balcony table for two! Some of the best Ceviche we ate the entire trip.

Beautiful view over the plaza. Nice interior and they also have an outside balcony. WiFi security is weak though; they use WPA, which is considered non-secure. They should upgrade to WPA2 to keep their customers secure. WiFi is free. I did not try any of their food.
