This was one of the best meals I have ever had. Not only was the setting very cozy and comfortable, the service was very inviting. The Chef even came out at one point to show us white truffles that would be part of one of the pasta dishes. The meal started with savory fried zeppoes, a platter of mixed cheese, meat and vegetables, a bruschetta plate and a plate with frittatas, grilled polenta and little sandwiches. Then the first pasta dish; fresh pasta with truffles. Truly one of the most amazing pasta dishes I have ever had. So simple and fresh. The next pasta course was a delicious gnocchi with vegetables. Salad, potatoes and a dish of beans of chestnuts accompanied the meat course. I have never seen beans with chestnuts before and boy, was this delicious. The two flavors went so perfectly. The meat course was assorted grilled meats and dessert was an amazing torta with a chocolate hazelnut filling. If I lived in the area, I would easily be here a few times a month. This is a meal that I will not soon forget!!
