Sanctuary Vineyards Outer Banks Winery

We went just looking for a Sunday afternoon excursion from the beach. Were very pleasantly surprised. All the wines we tasted (dry whites and reds) were awesome! The gentlemen who was working there was very cordial and informative. He even took us in the back to see the wine barrels and explained some about the wine-making process. We bought several bottles to go, and will definitely be back for more.

Gorgeous vineyard! Stunning grounds, beautiful tasting room and indoor space, fabulous wine, first-class staff. They offer all sorts of wonderful events year round, and the entire enterprise is extremely welcoming and inviting. It's a must-visit in the Outer Banks.

Wonderful experience here. We just recently moved to the area in slow season, so we did not need to make a reservation. But if you happen to be in the area during high or busy season, I highly recommend you making a reservation. We were able to taste two flask of wine. We went home with the “Frontin’” bottle and plan on returning to buy more wine in the future. Customer service was amazing as well as the wine! This is such a staple in the community and I’m so glad they’re here!

Rude service, the older woman named Karen (how fitting) had an attitude while helping customers and was acting like we were inconviencing her when ordering tastings. The wine was delicious but will not go back.

I had a great time at their Crabdaddy Wine festival. The music food was great! I really enjoyed the wine as well. Everyone was really nice only prob was 1 bathroom so just don’t wait until the last minute to go. They also had a hayride that was cool.
