Is a new restaurant (opened about a year ago) in this charming village stopped in the past. to get to this village is necessary to take a cable car (or the 1500 stages not always available every hour, but more often at...weekend operated they check the times before they take the cable car. once in monteviasco train station they take the right side to the village and a bit down can see the terrace of the restaurant that is easily recognizable. we ordered pasta with wild boar sauce, white ravioli and goat milk cheese, which is a speciality from this village. fresh gastronomic quality, but small portions. bergblick is amazing. prices are not cheap (plate of cold cuts 14.00; Pasta courts from 10.00; dessert 7.00 plus cover fees,) but take into account distance and transport. after the meal a walk in the village is necessary. a tiny village that came into the mountains along the world, they do not miss visiting the church and simply thinking how they transported everything on those days by using only the hiking trail. the mountain village piero (after the cable car station, the road after the bridge) is also worth a visit.

This was an amazing experience: very good, very demanding cooking in a subalpine (900 meters above sea level) village restored to balanced, tasteful, fully wired style. large walk on the mulattiera (stone fed, large distance suitable for ware transport with donkey,) all. of high, thick chestnut trees. amazing view of the green, narrow valley below. some very good dishes, carefully prepared, with more than a bit of Swiss taste and style. for example: ravioli with nettle and goat ricotta filling, polnta mais flour with goat gargonzola cheese, raw with late zli sauté knödeln, orange and apple cake in thick short breads. only the thin steak was a bit blunt, as the meat base taste is still very well prepared. also salami and dried meat starters were especially, strongly garnished with sweet caramelized vegetables and seasoned, far away from trivial. a bit higher than some, if clearly shown in the menu, for a surprisingly challenging experience in view of the settings. great, every penny worth at 25 euro per person, with simple wine.
