Provino's Italian - Cumming

It's always a great experience at Provino's, but this time, we had the pleasure of having Ron as our server for the first time. He was great, but all the others are great, too. The food was awesome as usual, too. But I struggle not ordering my favorite Penne Hot (chicken and hot Italian sausage over Penne pasta with an amazing spicy cream sauce).

This place is a gem! I loved it. Will definitely be back.

The staff was nice the wait was very long the place was clean they was some mix up on the food going to the right person, but the place was extremely busy, the complimentary rolls and salad were great, I would give them another try

So I didn’t even realize there was a Provino’s over here. My favorite restaurant ever, so we had to give this one a try. The atmosphere is the same as Buford. Which is good. We even recognized the cool gentleman at the front who greeted and sat us, from the Buford one. All was well. Salad and rolls are always good. One thing that was super different though: the portion size. My go to dish is Scampi al Forno. I just kinda looked at it when they sat it down like, uhh, what in the world? Like at least half of the usual portion. I’ve been eating this dish for 20 plus years, so I know back even from the Scalini’s days in Marietta. Anywho. Here’s where I’ll throw in a disclaimer. Ain’t NOBODY need to be consuming an entire portion of their Scampi in one sitting. I always take most of it home, that’s how much it usually is. So I’m not complaining I had more than enough. Just making the observation. Really not surprising considering the state of the economy these days. The stuffed shrooms seemed smaller than usual as well. I may be just imagining that part but I swear they used to be bigger. (That’s what she said). Actually the salad bowl was a little light too, now that I’m thinking about it. Service was STELLAR!! I don’t recall the dudes name, but he was absolutely perfect and left us wanting for nothing. Solid experience. ??

Love Provino's. The restaurant is setup in a fantastic layout making it great for cozy couples, family group or larger group gatherings. Large menu to accommodate all taste buds, and the food is always delicious. Dietary restrictions: Accommodates gluten or lactose intolerance even on the table salad, just ask for alterations you need. Parking: Electric car charging also available.
