Dave's Fresh Marketplace/cumberland

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Don't even attempt to make a return, whether you have a receipt or not. The service is awful, largely due to a group of rude teenagers working there. One employee with red hair is particularly unpleasant; she acts like she owns the place, but I suspect she's around fourteen or maybe sixteen. The customer service is rude and overbearing, and the food in the prepared section was not good. This place is one of the worst I've visited, even worse than the smaller locations in Smithfield and the new one in Warwick, where the staff also tend to be mean and rude. It's best to stay away.

Dave's used to be excellent, and their pizza is fantastic! However, their prices have skyrocketed! I had to wait for the cashier to finish her conversation before she could ring me up, which felt like I was at a grocery store, not a restaurant. On top of that, the grocery manager was quite grumpy and unfriendly. Come on, Dave's, you can do better!

This was my first visit since the renovation of the Cumberland store, and I was really impressed. The display of prepared foods was lovely, and everything looked fresh. The checkout experience was smooth, thanks to a friendly cashier.

We stopped in today to grab things that we cannot find in Florida. The store was very clean and staffed and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. We wish we had Dave's in Florida.

. A nice, little upscale (for RI, that is) supermarket with many delicious items for sale. Produce is seen first, and dairy is last, when navigating the store. The old psychology is to get you to traverse the entire store just to get the basics. Busyparking lot. Limited spaces. Noisy inside, but that?s to be expected. The staff is quick, energetic and friendly. Fast servicecompared to other grocery stores. The pricing is a bit excessive. But overall if you don?t mind paying more for getting a bitmore, then I guess that it?s all worth it. SNAP accepted too. Gift cards available.
