Sushi Mashiko - Culver City

Very happy to find this little hole in the wall. Excellent food, very quick and professional service, and extremely competitive quality sushi and other dishes. Very clean and an aesthetic that reminds me of a Los Angeles that doesn't exist anymore. I know one other sushi restaurant in LA that I would recommend, and I would not say it is better, but that they are equals Kazunori. However, Sushi Mashiko is much more welcoming. This is the best sushi restaurant in Culver City and one of the best in Los Angeles County. Simple, professional, and exceedingly excellent.

This place is a gem. Good quality food and service and the staff is lovely. Ordered two appetizers, sushi, and an entree—great value.

Very lovely atmosphere and staff. They were very sweet and attentive. We were visiting from Colorado for our honeymoon and were recommended this place, and it was the best sushi we’ve had! Next time we are back in this area, we will be sure to stop here again.

Reasonably priced for the high, fresh quality of the fish. Warm, light atmosphere and great service!

I only wish they had better choices for alcoholic drinks. Having shochu like all the other sushi and Izakaya places would be awesome!Food: 5/5
