Contribuiți la feedbackI was visiting the Culver City farmers market today and saw that they had a little booth outside their bakery near the other vendors. So after we got done with the market, we went to get their baked empanadas. They were really pretty and looked delicious, so I got four kinds: two spinach artichoke, spicy beef, tomato basil and chicken mushroom. I liked the spinach one but the chicken and beef were really disappointing. I also got some sprinkle cookies and shortbreadcookies and was overcharged because the woman at the register actually dropped one of the cookies from her tongs and didn't notice that it had fallen. So I was short one but no big deal, I didn't want my daughter eating two cookies anyway.*Shrug* Shortbread cookies were decent, nice and buttery. Overall, customer service was good, friendly but I probably would not revisit.
Came to grand casino with some friends on a whim thanks to their enormous outdoor seating area and it ended up being quite a pleasant surprise! We had originally planned on just having a beer but their happy hour food specials sounded too good to pass up. We ordered sweet potato fries, a sort of cheese/meat plate, and an empanada. All were delicious and great prices during happy hour but to be honest even their regular menu doesn?t seem too spendy. Our waitress was helpfuland personable and still was able to be attentive while they got busier. Regardless of the time this seems like a wonderful place to get some Argentinian food and look forward to going in and grabbing some things from the bakery next time.
Stopped by for a spinach empanada snack! It was delicious, both dough and filling. My friend also grabbed a chocolate glazed donut, which looked a bit boring... but it turned out to be pretty great. Would definitely recommend!
Phenomenal empanadas. They have a tent setup during farmers market hours so I tried them during that time. They had 4 for $12 and I tried the tomato basil and spicy beef. Incredible!
Great little cafe +restaurant. The restaurant side is to the left with waiter service; full menu, the food is pretty good. Sometimes they have Tango dancing or lessons. The cafe though is my favorite one of the two. Cute pastries, the empanadas are off the hook... order some and sit outside by the sidewalk table and people watch. They also have alfajores and pan de miga (thin ham and cheese sandwiches, delicious! . Street parking or there is a public street lot a blockor two away.
