Blaze Pizza - Culver City

One of the most affordable pizzas I've ever tasted! For just $6, you can enjoy their basic cheese and marinara pie, which is absolutely delicious. They offer signature pizzas as well, or you can customize your own just the way you want it. The crust is thin, with a great texture and chew, and it holds up nicely. Given the price, I really can't ask for more. MUST TRY: the simple pie and the green stripe (which features pesto, chicken, red peppers, garlic, mozzarella, and is topped with arugula).

I visited this restaurant with some friends and tried the pizza. The first time, I had a thin crust, which was quite good. On my second visit, I opted for the Hi Rise crust, but it ended up being too doughy for my taste. I think I'll stick to the thin crust from now on. The sauce and cheese are well-balanced, and you can customize your pizza by adding or removing toppings. I ordered the meat lover's pizza and added bacon and olives, which was delicious. I also enjoyed a tasty tomato, basil, and bocconcini salad.

The staff appeared curt and overwhelmed, rushing around and bumping into each other while shouting instructions. The ordering process felt chaotic and poorly managed. My gluten-free pizza was overlooked and left in the oven too long, which resulted in burnt edges and dry cheese. When it was finally served, the employee simply sliced off the burnt parts and handed it to me without offering to prepare a new one. I took a bite and found it to be as dry and rubbery as it looked. Initially, I considered leaving it uneaten, but my determined mother went to the counter to request a refund. The manager offered a half-hearted apology and processed the refund, but I have no desire to return. I suspect my family will still want to try Blaze Pizza in Palm Springs, and I have a feeling it will be a much better experience!

Update: They're getting very stingy with the mozzarella cheese, you ask for more and it's still not enough, you end up having a sauce and toppings pizza. I hope the manager or owner realize they're still in the pizza making business. I love it here but quality of pizza is hit or miss depending on the cooks. One day it might be cooked to perfection, the other day might be undercooked. The staff is friendly though and their black cherry and mango-orange sodas are really good.

Always love some great quality pizza? This is the first time I had their new keto crust and it was amazing. We had lots of toppings, the staff was there with a big smile and ready to help and our pizza came out to perfection. I have given five stars except the lobby and serving area was a bit drafty, dim, cold and a bit dirty but I?ll definitely be back
