Contribuiți la feedbackI ordered the spicy southwest chicken sandwich, and to my dismay, the avocado in it was BLACK, rotten, and smelled terrible. Having experience in the food industry, I can confidently say that anyone could have easily seen that the avocado was spoiled. Despite this, they chose to slice it and add it to my sandwich before serving it to me. I ordered for delivery, and it makes me wonder if they did this knowing I wouldn't be able to return it right away to ask for a refund. I ended up eating part of the sandwich because I've been ill with the flu and didn't have any other food options available. However, here’s a picture of it. I was devastated because I had been looking forward to this sandwich, and I love avocado, but this was simply inedible.
Extremely unprofessional. They displayed a notice on the wall after a customer posted an online complaint about cold food and inadequate service when trying to address the issue. If the ability of customers to share their experiences is seen as a potential threat, it reflects poorly on both the management and the company as a whole. I will not be returning.
**Update:** I placed a DoorDash order today, and once again they messed up my Southwest salad. This time there was no avocado and no poblano and black bean relish. At least the French dip came with its dip. I never have these issues when dining in; it only happens with pickup or DoorDash orders. **Original post:** I ordered online yesterday and picked it up at the window. I requested a Southwest salad with added jalapeños, extra avocado, and Chipotle ranch dressing, along with a French dip. I’m not sure how much avocado usually comes with the salad, but the amount I received is shown in the picture. I also found a large piece of lettuce stem, which wasn’t a big deal. However, the real issue was that the dressing wasn’t Chipotle ranch; it was Thousand Island, which I didn’t realize until I had poured it all over my salad. Additionally, my French dip came without any au jus. I tried to call the restaurant but was put on hold, and then the call dropped. I ended up throwing the salad away and felt it wasn't worth the hassle to call back. Next time I visit McAlister's, I will dine in.
This store, was phenomenal. From the friendliness of the workers to the cleanliness of the bathrooms to the delicious taste of the food. I am a baker and presentation is always key with me. These workers excelled on that. Will definitely be returning here.
Sloooow and poor quality/quantity. Waited 10 minutes to order. 4 people ahead of me, 1 cashier. 21 minutes to get food at lunch. 31 minutes total until food on table. You have to choose a table before you order or look around while ordering to choose a table number, really inconvenient and odd. After 31 minutes check the photo to see my sweet chipotle chicken sandwich. More like a chicken flavored sandwich than a chicken sandwich. Not going back.
