Nice. the personal was super friendly and warm. I was looking for something Oaxacan food and found it in the neighbourhood where we lived.
Good place for mezcal, but food is really mediocre. The beef (tasajo) in Tlayuda was only really strange. Remember me the thin leaves of beef you find in a cheap cheese steak in the states. I don't think the beef was really Tasajo... (salted and partly dehydrated in open air.) Nopal salad was really sub par. Overcooked Nopal was gray and limp. No apology, not knowing how to crunch Nopal, the vibrant green color and a light. No salt. Instead of queso fresco, any Zilantro and queso de hebra. By far the worst dish was the guacamole with chapulines. The chapulines were wet (with lemon) and soggy. I don't know. Nothing worse than a soggy Grashopper.
If you never have Comida Oaxaqueño (Oaxacan food), and you can't do it personally, you must eat here. The variety of cuisine is one of the biggest things about Mexico, and Oaxacan food is not disappointed. Giant tlayudas are enough to fill...but be sure to save space for the guacamole with chapulines (Grasshoppers). There is also a wide selection of craft beers from the region. Let me know if you're leaving... I'll meet you there.
You will regret if you don 't have the horchata con tuna water, simply the best and unique drink! you should also try molotes
