Contribuiți la feedbackIt´s located in one of the trendiest/hipster neighborhoods in Mexico City, a bit hidden with only a small advertisement in the front which is very good if you are looking for an authentic local trendy place experience. Since you enter the place, a very warm/alternative atmosphere is felt, the design is very minimalistic, it has both private and shared tables so knowing new people is quite easy since must of the customers are young and are usually hanging out in there. We ordered rock shrimps as starter which were simply delicious and duck and rib- eye bardots as main dishes which are the place own original creations, the food is full of creativeness, exotic flavors, well everything you could expect from a high end fusion food restaurant but all at very reasonable prices. The other star is for the drinks, we tried the dry cocktails with Cava and were very very good, they have many different cocktails to offer all made out on cava, and thursdays they are only 15 pesos : ,, the other drink star for me were GIN Tonics, they are professionals on them, you can either ask for a bar tender gin+tonic recommendation or you can do your own with a very wide list of ingredients which they bring to your own table : Special days, They have a Live Jazz group on Tuesdays and a very good House DJ on Thursdays. Definitely coming back
Small restaurant, but everything here has great taste and excellent selection and service. The owner Rogelio will give you the feeling that you just went to his house for dinner. Food and drink are above the top with taste.
We fell upon this restaurant while walking in Colonia Roma and returned as we were amazed at the quality and preparation of the food.. Our wait person Daniel was extremely pleasant and helpful.. The arrogant maitre d/gerente specialized in looking important. The food was well prepared and very fresh... Apparently this restaurant is fairly new, we had the pleasure to meet the owner who explained a bit of his philosophy...and wish him the best ...This should become very successful, with waiters like Daniel....The arrogante gerente however could stand some polishing.
I'm always uncomfortable writing a bad review, but as a TA member I feel the moral obligation to share my experience as I had. As a start I ordered a salad that sounds delicious, it was a problem that I found a living worm in it. I tried not to make a big scene because I didn't want to pamper my weekend with my family, just called the waiter and show what was going on (the little guy moved happily between the cale)... They are really ashamed, of course they didn't load the salad and even sent a dessert as courtesy, but the damage was already there and since then I could enjoy nothing else. Maybe it was an honest mistake, but I'm sure none of us want to live it...
It won't blow you away. But I think it's a great place for a date with friends. Try to order a few plates to share and save space for dessert.
