Bella Donna - Cuauhtémoc

I don't know who the cook is or where the owners are and when they have tried their cannoli, Italian big mouse crawls every time this dish is served. never order food with delivery the profiterole are delivered with the profiterole rolls cut...in the half and four small plastic containers filled with ice. really need to reassess their prices, it would be great as a competition to itallianis or the olive garden definitiw not Italian cuisine

That is about six blocks from the inner city of marriott. the restaurant is open to the outside. it has white tablecloths with a musician playing soft music. they are greeted by the owner. he recommends a wein. they order a lovely pasta. they want to stay longer. great eating great wine cheap and entertaining. it was wonderful. after a stressful day it is perfect. like a trip to an Italian village restaurant.

What a great place we found. I wish we had eaten there earlier, when we came back to our last day after a trip to the southern graves, on the canals. I recommend dressing up. we just came back. from a trip and I felt a little dressed. the quality of eating, service and atmosphere were impeccable. our hostess was friendly and pleasant. I wish we had done more of an event of this eating experience, as it deserves more than what we could do at that time. give yourself the change to sit and enjoy a beautiful meal with all bells and whistle. that had to be the best foodie experience we had in Mexico City.

We just finished a very nice lunch at Bella Donna. Wow, it was fantastic! We got there early for a Friday lunch in Mexico City around 1:30pm or so. They weren't busy yet, so we got a nice table in the back patio area....We split the Rughetta salad arugula, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese and the portion size split was just right. My companion had the trout off the specials menu. It was big, cooked just right, and had a nice capers sauce on it. I had the Spiedino de Mare, a skewer with salmon, tuna, and sea bass and a bit of pasta on the side (I requested that as an accompaniment). Man, oh man was that ever good. The portions were generous and the fish was cooked just right. This is a really good Italian restaurant don't let the kinda out of the way location or the modest entrance fool you. We'll for sure be back.

Service at this restaurant was great, attentive, but not overbearing. We started with a great bottle of wine, which was also reasonably priced. I had the salmon entre, our son had calamari, and my husband had lasagna. All were excellent. I wish we could have had tiramisu for dessert, but all three of us had such large entrees we couldn't even think about dessert. As we were leaving, a singer with guitar began playing. A bit much for a small restaurant, but at least it didn't get too loud. I actually like to be able to talk with my dinner companions, so I don't appreciate a loud background.
